With over 20 year of experience, Barbara Nichols Mencer is a professional coach and trainer, specializing in business development for attorneys.

She has 12 years of experience as an in-house marketing director for several mid-sized law firms in Southern California. Nichols Mencer is skilled in providing group training along with one-on-one coaching, helping each professional craft an individual business development plan that plays to his or her strengths, while complementing and implementing the goals of the overall organization. Nichols Mencer also coaches in the areas of law office practice management, recruiting, retention, leading, mentoring, succession planning, time management, and health and wellness issues.

Nichols Mencer is an active member of the Legal Marketing Association, the Legal/Professional Association Task Force, the Women’s Business Center of California, San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance, Coach University, International Coach Federation, Coachville, and The Pinnacle Group. She has published numerous articles on business development and recently authored self-published her own “Business Development: 97 Quick and Easy Tips for Lawyers” booklet.
