HEATHER SHEARER
Account Executive

As an account executive with Legal Image, Heather Shearer plays an integral role in all of the agency’s accounts where she oversees media relations, strategic planning, copywriting, project coordination and account development. Shearer also heads the agency’s new media division which includes development and implementation of social media, blogger relations and viral marketing.

Shearer’s previous public relations and marketing experience includes working at PainePR, a full-service marketing and public relations firm, where she worked in-house at Sony Electronics. Prior experience includes an internship at Formula PR, a national public relations boutique, where she supported accounts such as Kashi and ConocoPhillips brands. Shearer’s public relations career began during an academic internship with Legal Image, and sister agency, Heying & Associates, during her senior year at San Diego State University.

An honors graduate of San Diego State University, Shearer holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in sociology.
